576xp handle question?

I just picked up a 576xp from my local dealer and I was looking it over when I got home. I noticed on the handle on the right hand side by the motor there is the spring at top and below that my handle has a bolt screwed in with a shank that sticks out and there is a round hole in the middle like a round piece of rubber should go there but just the shank of the bolt sticks out an inch or so. I lost my digital camara on the last jeepn trip, so I cant take a picture. Just wondering if its right or do I need to hit the saw shop up. thanks chad

It is just a limiter so you do not stretch the anti-vibe springs to much. It is supose to be that way.
