65 year old saw lives again

Here is the old 620 Pioneer running again, all 25 lbs of it! The first saw in the family, it has probably cut trees in the thousands. Now doubt the rings need changing by now, but it still runs great.

Pioneer got its roots started by IEL, Industrial Engineering Limited , located in Vancouver B.C. but was bought out by OMC and the manufacturing base was moved to Peterborough, Ontario. There the saws starting with the 600 series were made using die casting technology instead of the sand casting the older IEL saws used.
