Hey,
Have one of the old saws from my dad.
Picked it apart today and it look quite nice, piston/cylinder in great shape.

I already done a MM and carb waiting for it is WT 215, half done to modd the changes that is needed for the carb.

Since it is one clamshell design I guess there isn't much to be done with compression, exept popup piston (who is not to happen).
I consider to port it (never done porting before) is there lots of gain to port the little 018? And if so, anyone who can lead me on the correct road.

Regards,
Tor

Maybe I'll put one of those 24 tooth sprockets on my 018c. ummm, or not.

The 018C is one of the saws in my permanent line up. Great limber.

I have to agree with you. I have a 017 and it is just right for the little jobs I use it for and even some of the bigger ones in a pinch. Swap out the carb MM it and don't look back.
