woodbooga
cords of mystic memory
Got off to a late start this Sat. due to the boy's 9am baseball game. Still found lots of bargains to be had. Now that yard sale season's in full swing, I'm wondering what others might have found kicking around.
Found this at a sale where most of the merchandise consisted of coffee mugs and 1970s era chinaware. Wasn't even out for sale, but I noticed a woodmizer mill set up off in the distance, so I knew there was a lot of stuff in the barn that might be of interest - even if not to buy, then just to look at and admire.
Got to talking with the oldtimer of the house who was taking a break from yardwork. His barn was like a museum of anything that has an engine. He sold me one of his Homelite 550s for $75. Runs awesome and made some 20" red oak rounds like it was 6" pine. Even threw in a new chain and the owners manual. Cleanest saw I've ever bought secondhand.
