I bought a truckload of redwood and ceder blocks today at an auction for one dollar. I will see if a friend of mine wants some of it to make turkey calls but most of it will probably just end up in my stove. I assume it will probably burn up quick but I can use it to get a good fire going before adding good hardwoods. Does anyone have any experience burning this stuff??? What can I expect?

All I am burning right now is cedar. It has been warm and only need one or two quick fires to take the chill out. It burns quick, hot, no coals, and a ton of ash.
