Where can I buy a carb kit for a 084? The official Stihl dealers here in Sweden are very expensive, so I would prefer to buy it off the Internet.

Stihl's got quite the markup on that one I see, lol

Andy do the HT2 HT3, HTxx all use the same carb kit?

Thanks
Steve

Pretty much... You have to be selective in which parts you use, but it's obvious. Never use any metering spring if it's supplied - always use the original.

Yes, Stihl kits are more expensive, but you get exactly what you need, a few more parts, and no guessing... If they made a change in say the metering spring, you get exactly that spring.

I usually buy the generic Walbro or Tilotson kits. Zama is a pain in comparison as they have damn near a kit per carb!
