chainsaw recommendation to replace echo cs-440

I was adjusting the valves on my Kohler SV720 on my mower today when one of the bolts holding the valve cover on broke off. I drove to Rural King to buy some bits, a screw extractor, and a some crimp on electrical terminal for the battery because the old one was corroded. They didn’t have the electrical terminal so I drove to Home Depot, and low and behold what they had on the clearance shelf for $279.00, an Echo CS-490. Couldn’t pass it up.
