Chinese Bar Makeover

For those of you (and me) who have Holzfforma chainsaw bars and think that "Holzfforma...for the working man" is just Chinese silliness, here's a solution. Take a Scotch-Brite pad, add a dash of lacquer thinner, then scrub lightly until the dark blue paint melts away leaving the light gray behind. Wipe clean with a paper towel and lacquer thinner. Here are the results:

Clear coat it so the gray last longer and pine sap doesn't stick too bad on it.
