What's the best cleaner besides a degreaser to clean burnt sawdust and oil off chainsaws? I was using purple power degreaser but it likes to turn the plastic a purple tint.
I use purple power or simple green with extremely hot water. Trick is not to leave the cleaner on for to long or it will discolor the saw as u indicated. If it does discolor the saw, I soak it down with WD-40 overnight and it brings back the color.
Where do you buy the "Oil Eater"?View attachment 438417 The orange stuff is good for medium duties. The oil eater for the heavy duty cleaning.

Not PC, but I use gasoline from time to time. Always outside and in small amounts.
That and a good parts brush works wonders.
So gasoline as a parts cleaner, and piss revving in your garage?
Lunch is my treat.
Nahh! I figure you'll be ordering off of the Senior Menu anyway. Is there like a limit or something as to how much I can order?
I usually skip breakfast........just so you know.
+1 hereI've had good result with LA's Totally Awesome available at tge local Dollar Tree. 20 oz spray or 32 oz refill for $1.00 each.
