Looking for replacement chainsaw blade for

Does anyone know if Oregon has replacement and correct item # ?

You will have to match up your bar to the templates in the Oregon catalog. They look like this:

Are you talking about a bar or a chain loop or both? Blade = ?

The 3.7 with an 18" bar probably takes 050 gauge chain, 3/8" pitch, and 66 drive links. But, I'm firing from the hip. Count the drive links on your loop.

The answer is yes. Oregon makes a replacement bar and chain for it. I like them better because you can flip them and use the underside rather than wear out one side of the bar.

I looked on Oregon's website and they didn't have any bars for the 917 series saws. I kinda figured the Poulan bars would fit but guess not..

I have my father's Craftsman 3.7 18" and it has an Oregon guide - .325 .050 74... I just picked up a new chain but I grabbed the 18" .325 .050 72 instead of the 74. Gotta go exchange it. That's what has been on this saw for years. The exact model number is 917-353771.

They sure do. Same series as the Poulan 3400 - 4000 counter vibes. The mount is D176. Bolts right up. The saw would have come with a 3/8" pitch chain.

Go to the parts finder on the Oregon site and look up Poulan 3800 / 3700

The saw is a Roper saw not a Poulan.

I just acquired a Roper 3.7 18" bar. Looks to me like the "banana" bar that Poulans came out with..

Hello Joe , George never gave me the part # on his Oregon bar .
If you call Oregon customer service they will help you find a bar for your saw .

I was searching earlier and havent been able to find out a replacement bar for this saw. Its a Craftsman 3.7 18" ( from what i have seen I believe its the "Roper" type)

Maybe i havent searched correctly but what I can tell it needs a bar for .325pitch/74drag/.050 gauge.

Any help is appreciated!

Local saw shop actually made a chain for it but I was just looking for a bar, Thanks guys!

Are you sure its a Roper? Most were 3.7 17" the 18" are useally Poulans

If indeed it is the older Roper, you can use a Oregon K041 mount bar on it with no mods.

Just ask for a bar for a Poulan Pro 295.
