Pretty neat! Of course a very small margin for "error" here no doubt...no popping the clutch, buzzed driving, last minute stunts! lol

Only problem is, how do you unchoke it with such a short grab and the end of the log still in the air up in the bed?

Too funny!! Never thought of that, have to agree part of me wants to try that. Def have to make sure that you hook it to the correct drive wheel. My luck it would catch on something and fling the back of the log on the cab of the truck.

Perhaps use a heavy come-along in place of the choke cable or chain. Easy enough to finish dropping the snagged end then. Or just a binder? Pick it up locked, then unlock it?
