CSI NY Chainsaw

On CSI New York S09E09 they "assassinate" a person with a chainsaw they show a charred saw but I couldn't identify it, any takers?

Seen the episode?

16" bar, but is it a RedMax or an Echo? which model?

My guess is EC-CS500P.

I'm no expert but +2 on the Echo for the filter cover and recoil ass'y.The way the plastic is melted makes it a little less fugly though.

On their defence it was indirect heat because they put out the fire before it reached the trunk, it could also have an empty gas tank though.

Not a big fan of the show anymore, it's always the same thing.

I bet some of you are happy to see an echo burn

I really never understood how people can watch that stuff. I've been to many, many autopsies and I've never, ever seen one conducted in a dark room. When you start seeing stuff like that, turn the channel and find a good John Wayne or Randolph Scott flick. At least theres no pretense of reality there.
