Ok, who has some information on this saw? It was just dropped off to see if I can breath life into it. It's a " little woodsman " made in Eureka, Calif. any input appreciated. Made by Merrill and Barnwell.

The early info I have says this is an early version of this model, later version has straight fins on the motor, only 3000 made between 1946 and 1952. Chainsaws made these obsolete. It's all there, even the battery which is mounted between the rails on the bottom of the mag box. I bet if I clean the points and squirt some fuel mix in the intake it will pop!
Looks to be in very nice condition and to have all the parts there and together is a great bonus. Most times these drag saws are in very poor condition, left outside to rot and rust away. The wood frame is even intact so a restoration would be quite easy, keep it original as possible, a good cleanup and a bit of paint would make it look great.
