I have been thinking about buying a 14 foot dump trailer. Do you think this would work to take some logs to the mill?? I am not sure if I could use it to dump the logs at the mill or if they could be unloaded without tearing up the trailer. I have been thinking of getting one to haul firewood etc anyway and I prefer to make my equipment pay for itself if possible. Thanks for any assistance.

I would think, it would work well. Just chain them down good to keep from rolling around, if your only hauling a few. They should slide right out and not hurt anything. Hope you have the tailgate that swings clear!

Better call the mill first. Most have loaders dedicated to unloading trucks.

If the sides come off use dunnage so the loader can get under the logs from the side.
