Looks like it is doing a good job to me.....and doesn't put your hands to sleep:cheers:. Seam, is Echo the predominant saw in Japan or are there imports ?
In the smaller-saw segment Japanese saws are quite abundant over here.
Mid-size to larger chainsaws used to be mainly Stihls for professional use (McCulloch in the old days), but now predominantly Husqvarna (probably more fun to work with). Echo has been a player in the market but I haven't seen an 80+ cc (or even 70 cc??) Echo saw sold after 1990 yet. Zenoah was a fairly successful brand for the 35 to 45 cc segment, but they were gobbled up. The merger of Shindaiwa and Echo will probably pave the way for phasing out these brands altogether some day with Chinese chainsaws lurking around the corner.
