chaps(you know, those a$$less pants that Hardlyableson riders wear) :hmm3grin2orange:
helmet(something the don't wear):dizzy:
gloves
extra non-safety chain and files and guide for sharpening
maybe a saw case to protect it
good boots

most of that stuff is for YOU, to protect YOU from what can happen with the saw

BTW, nice saw!

Yeah im looking forward to it , especially sense it was a good purchase

:greenchainsaw:

Well i got my saw today and man it is amazing , now i have to go find something that needs cutting.

:)

Some years ago the MS260s had fixed H jets in the carbs - hopefully it isn't one of those.
They came to their senses pretty fast, so most likely not......:biggrinbounce2:

How do i figure out if my saw is made like this ?

Yeah, get yourself a couple of sharpening files. Should run maybe $2 each, maybe even less. I bought a pack of three at the Stihl shop the other day for $4. Then, learn to sharpen your chain and give it a touch-up frequently, maybe even every day that you cut, when you're done. A good, sharp chain will make your saw run like a slightly larger one, compared with a dull chain. And at prices like $8 to get one sharpened, the money you'll save will buy more saw stuff.

Download the owner/operator manual from the Stihl website. If you need the service manual (most likely you won't need it) send me your email address via PM.

What area of Houston are you in? You might enjoy reading the Texas GTG thread.
