Well I just wanted to share some good news. I found a backwoods saw shop with a whole barn full of parts saws and basket cases. I picked up a husky 365 special with a scored piston. I told him I'd be back because I saw a shinny 488 in the pile! This CAD is getting out of hand, so my wife says. She asked me why do I need to have so many saws? I asked her why does she need so many shoes? Didn't go well, but I'm keepin the saw.

When she asks why you need so many saws. Just reply so I can use your dishwasher. Nice find on the saw shop, and think about it this way. When you fix saws you are not wasting money, and if you do it right it is a little investment.
