Twin trees are pretty common but I had one that WAS half Maple and half Oak. A wind storm a few weeks back broke the Oak half and created a bit of a mess with the other trees it collected on the way down.

I still have the main portion to buck but I didn't have the time this morning to get it all done. I should have it split and stacked on Saturday.

If you'd shown me that pic a few years ago, I'd have had a hard time believing it. Somewhere on AS I have a pic of a cherry tree grown into a double white oak, suprised the heck out of me when I first saw it.
