You might consider touching up the chain more often. Easier and safer that way.

That mostly is a good idea - I usually do it every other tank, if nothing special happens.

It is much better to file a little often, than to wait and then file a lot...

If I buy a Blue saw everyone will look at me funny because no-one up here runs them and never seen ANY Dolmar saws up here either(Northern Sask/Manitoba)....I think I will get the Stihl 362....after further research it will be MORE than enough saw for my needs...maybe too much saw....most guys up here run Husky 460 ranchers for firewood duty and I don't hear alot of complaints.

Plus it is from the same dealer where I just bought a Snow machine so I am getting him to throw in a spare free chain...and some oil at cost.
