Hi All. I need to know how to remove the clutch on an Echo CS-452VL saw. I have an oiling problem with this saw and there appears to be a leak behind the clutch. The clutch does not appear to be threaded on so any ideas from someone in the know would be helpful. Cheers.......NZEcho.

There should be 2 or 3 tapped holes to use a puller. It is on a tapered shaft with a woodruff key. So it dosen't thread on, you are right there. You will need to remove the clutch drum and nut, so stuff some small rope down the sparkplug hole to keep the saw from turning over while you remove the nut, or weld a small bolt onto the end of a sparkplug to make a piston stopper. The nut is left handed..Bob
