The compression release would be right by the spark plug. Up and to the right I believe. You should see a plug on yours if the compression release has been removed.

That hole above and to the right of your spark plug.Check the IPL I sent.You should have it by now.

Got the IPL/s . Thank you Looks like my compression release is missing as the hole by the spark plug is there and no release button>NO SURPRISE

Going by the oil tank and recoil housing, my call is an 075.

+1 I agree. The 076 oil fill is on top. 075 is on the side. Also the 075 had a full cover muffler shield like this one. The 076 had just a half shield over the muffler, or at least the ones I have seen were.
