Here's an old one....

This was at my FILs. It was exposed to the elements and is now froze up. It did run before he set it where it was sitting. I'm going to dump oil down the plug hole and let it soak.

What can you guys tell me about it?

David Bradley U-4G. 77cc power products AH-47 engine. Old, heavy, vibrates alot. Chain speed is very slow, but I doubt you could ever stall it in the cut.

I have on identical to is hanging on the wall in my garage. Runs like a charm. Slower than dirt and louder than thunder.

So .....good saw if you need a good shaking and have all day.

Would you use 2 stroke oil or go with the 30w like it says on the plate? If 2 stroke what ratio?

I use a good quality 2 stroke oil @ 40:1 in all my saws, including the classics. So far I have not had any problems.
