Hello everyone, I just bought a new 372xp yesterday and don't know how safe is it to hold it at WOT for tuning since it's not broken in. I checked the H screw and it's only 3/4 out which I think is too lean. I have had this saw before but it was used so I had no fear of running it WOT for 10 seconds or so to tune it. What is the best way to do this?

What does the manual specify for initial carb settings?
One turn out. I've done the tuning and it runs great, 4 strokes out the cut cleans up nice in the cut. The manual says max rpm is 13300 and mine runs at 100-150 under that. What worries me is that there is carbon buildup in the exhaust port already and on the side of the cylinder. Also a lot of oil. Im using 40:1 husky oil maybe i should just stick to 50:1.

Another odd thing is it has no limiter caps and has only one ring.
