Actually, there was a guy who did all the down in the brush work. His dad ran the landing. I'd head down and ask what he was that day, and did the rigging crew ever cuss out the faller, etc. They had ample parking because they carpooled. He's the guy who I heard screaming and cussing after the saw noise stopped. I asked his dad if maybe we should go check on him and his dad said, "Why? He's still cussin'." We finally did go check and the faller
which he was at that time, had a tree go backwards and bent the bar. When we got to the spot, he was mumbling about a %$#&^ 10 dollar tree wrecking a thousand dollar saw. But, the bar was the only damage and his dad packed it to the pickup and hammered the bar straight and declared it would make a backup bar. So goes life in the woods.
