Husky saw similar to 026 ?

I am not up on Husky saws or I might know the answer to this question. What Husky is similar to a 026 Stihl size and power wise? Not trying to start a argument etc. Just wondering

Yea, that is true.

A 346 is not comparing apples to apples.

346 old edition, 45cc:

10.6 lbs, 3.4 hp



026, 49cc:

10.6 lbs, 3.5 hp -- or probably more like 3.2 hp if you don't have an early model with the four-hole muffler.



Husky fans will say the old edition cut faster because it had a higher peak rpm... I don't get it.:dunno:

Even the OE 346 will run circles around a 026. I've made this direct comparison in probably 12" wood. The NE 346 came out on top, then the OE 346, then the 5100, and finally the 026.
