I have a chance to buy a husky 50 from a nice elderly lady. I would like to see if it runs and I'm unsure of the correct oil to gas ratio. The saw looks well cared for and the compression feels good. I did a search and couldn't find any info on the proper ratio. The saw has the grey top cover, not the white, and I think it is from the late 80's. One friend says 40:1 and another says 32:1, don't want to burn the saw up just looking at it. Any info will be helpful.

Thank you Carl

50:1. High quality mix oil designed for chainsaws, not outboard 2 stroke oil. 2.6 oz. of oil per gallon of gas.
