This may sound dumb, but I put the oversized clutch cover on my ms660 and I honestly believe that the regular one clears better when noodling. ....
I bought it from Baileys. http://www.baileysonline.com/itemdetail.asp?item=HVP+537+33+10+01&catID=1699
The standard cover on the left does narrow at the bottom, it actually flares inward, the wide cover on the right does not.\
It looks like the cover narrows toward the bottom in this pic. Am I seeing things?
Baileys has them ST

There are two clutch cover arrangements. The standard 537033572 and the WA 537331001. I presume that tha WA is the wide version.
If I still have the factory cover, its up for sale. You gonna noodle and compare them soon?? Be interested in your results!
If they had one for the 346 it might solve the roll over problem. Not that it's a problem though.
No, put the cover on the saw, and the saw sits. My daily driver needed some attention, as in new wheel bearing, half shaft, and outer tie rod.Any updates Outlaw5.0???
This modded side cover does not clog up when noodling.
