Yesterday I had to pay the piper so to speak. Older gentlemen has been letting me cut wood to sell off his land and his grandson stopped by to tell me he was about out of wood. We cut a truck load and dropped it off. He had a bunch of big rounds at his wood shed said he coudn't split them because his splitter broke down. Rounds were 15 to 30 inches. I cut about a 6 inch tall piece off one of the bigger rounds to set the wood on and started ripping.I riped everything with my 038mag. Saw preformed flawlessly. few hours and 4 tanks of gas latter everything was cut into heater size wood. some rounds were good in 4 cuts. Some I had to make 4 cuts to quarter then stand them on end and rip down . That old saw just sounds so good. I gotto get a new camera so I can post pics.:greenchainsaw:
