I would be interested in it for that price if it isn't hot. Probably the only way to tell would be to get the serial number off it and find out who the owner that registered it is and contact them.

echo 610evl twin on ebay

Just curious if one of you guys ended up with it. i thought it was a pretty good buy, just more than I wanted to spend for a conversation piece, a saw I would probably never actually use.

What was it? The ad was deleted and i'm curious.:help:

It was a MS440. Judging from the pics it didn't have alot of hours on it. Only wanted $250. The ad said that it was given to him and he didn't need it and wanted to sell ASAP!

hmm Sounds fishy....who wouldn't need a 440? It would be very hard to resist if it was within an hours driving distance.

It was not to far from me but was gone about instantly. Sounds very fishy to me and It wouldn't surprise me if it was "HOT".

We all want good deals but I don't want some one elses saw/living.

Lessee: brand-new aftermarket clutch cover, wear on handlebar doesn't match saw, bar style pre-dates saw model.

I'll put a beer bet on this saw having been either dropped or dropped-on.

If one of us is the seller, and I'm wrong, I'll gladly buy you that beer, as you're only an hour or so from here, and I love a good story.

Actually, the sprocket cover is painted. It's advertised as a 440 but it's a 460. I've already talked to the seller on behalf of a third party.

Welcome to Arboristsite, Have some rep (rep is that little green block under your name!) You must mean this one:

Boy, did that one go cheap! Looks like the seller picked a poor time to have the auction end, I usually end chainsaws on Sunday nights around 09:30 eastern. Those saws usually fetch around $400 - $500 in that condition.

OK guy!

This guy is out of his $#%&(*^ mind!! I called him a month ago and he was taking offers. But he was being a real pain about it so I said the hell with it. You gotta see this.. Im calling him now and saying "you mean $15.00 right?" Its nice but its looks like a re-badged XL12 or remington SL9.
