Yes. Most guys that mill run at least 32:1 and tune rich.

I get some smoke out of my muffler that seems like it's just running hot. Does it hurt anything to run 32:1 to cool it down a bit? I don't want to mess with the tuning, that makes me nervous.

There's people much more capable to answer your tuning questions....but if it's lean and hot then more oil would actually make that worse.

I tune the saws down about 500-1000 rpm for milling. I run 25:1 or 32:1 if I don't have an extra fuel can.
