Is the Stihl 090 still made in Brazil?

Excuse me for butting in Mr Troll.......Wood Dr, whats the cylinder bore looking like? Any chance of some pic's? I believe Stihl used four different motifs on the 090 starters during it's production run.
Serial number is 8367478.

I had to scrape off 1/4" of grime to read it. A few mud dobbers had built nests inside the chain cover. These insects are some sort of a wasp. So far, I've scraped half a pound of gunk off this saw from just about everywhere. Then the original owner looks to have stored the saw on a concrete slab. So, the bottom has corrosion. Muffler is missing. That probably locked up the piston when the saw ran too hot. Rebuilding it is going to be an enormous challenge.

I think best that I post another thread with "Before --- After" Pics. This big classic chain saw is in a mess.
