I have 630 that has what i would to much cold start compression and i see a grey dust paste in the carb inlet neck so any input would be great.

When was the last time the saw has run? Definitely shouldn't be any "paste" in the inlet. I would do a little inspecting/cleaning before running it. Do a compression test and report back the results.

runs regularly but irratic idle lately so took air filter off to check it out and saw the greyish **** in carb inlet. will try to do compression test tommorow.
Might need to tear itdown and inspect also. today it stalled and wouldnt start like getting no fuel poured a little in carb and started right up ran for a minute or 2 but seemed to skip a beat between idle and full throttle and after a another minute or 2 stalled again and need fuel in carb to restart
