Here are two new carburetors I have had for some time and never noticed the close similarities between the two until today. Both are Tillotson, one is for a Jonsered 670 serial # (HS630D...) and the other is for a Jonsered 930 (HS219c...). I am wondering if these carbs can work on either saw mentioned above. Correct me if I am wrong but these carbs match, at least physically. The pictures tell the story. I note the minor differences in the area of the recirculating ports and the bar or flaps that moves when you adjust the large idle screws. My question is will the internal parts match inside both carbs? Carb kits are the same as per Acres site. I don't want to disassemble the carbs since they are new. Feedback appreciated.

They are the same carb with different inlets...

Post this in the "chainsaw" forum a little further down the page and you will get more feedback that in the logging forum...
