I agree on the darn drain plugs. Got to be the most stupidest engineering
flaw on mowers.
Tip the mower on its side with the dipstick still in. Cut a milk jug in half, put it under the dipstick tube and pull the stick. You can then funnel the oil out of your makeshift pan and dispose of properly. `taint rocket surgery.
When you do 20-30 oil changes a day like I do, the tip-n-dump saves hours over farting around with drain plugs.
All of my mowers are 2 strokers, we don't need no steeeeeeeeenking oil changes!
