They will pull a 28" bar really well. Even though the 6401 has less displacement it has the same stroke as the 7900, so the make great torque, and will eat other 60cc saws up.

With the BBK on board, the only saw I have (other than my Stihl MS 660) that will run with the Makita is my Stihl 046. Both weigh about the same. I doubt I will ever sell either until my muscles and bones can't handle them. I predict both will outlast me.

Saw that, wish I had the money as that's way better than buying from HD and for a good cause, too.
