Just for poops and squirts I checked the discount farm store here . 30 feet of #2 copper (2 15 ft leads), a cheap ground clamp and a cheap holder was $234 plus change.

Sounds about right lol welding ain’t cheap. Amazon seems to have better prices haha.

Also a hot ground clamp doesn’t necessarily mean you have an issue with the welder. You could have just picked a bad spot for ground lol you can usually tell by how it’s welding if your having issues

Hello Jim,

That is exactly what I thought. I had a couple of the carbs her years ago. I was pretty sure the welder had a bigger bore but another gentleman swore they were the same.

On a side note did you get buried in the huge snow awhile back?

Bill

What Do You Think Of These Leads ,I Could Always Shorten Them ,Seems Like A Good Price
2/0 is overkill for your application but would still work. Other than the higher cost of copper for the larger diameter wire it would be fine. I don’t know what ends your welder accepts tho so can’t comment on if it will plug in and work if that makes sense.
