I'lll get one up when it's done. I have to order chain for this saw. I have a rim and drum to go on it and a NOS .063 28" Oregon roller nose for it. I'm thinking 3/8 .063 chisel skip with an 8-tooth. Any thoughts? Should I stick with 7? May get both and see what happens. I reckon this should have the snot to haul an 8 pin. My 288 with a 28" and full comp destroys hardwoods (yes, it will out-rev a Super 250 by 3000 or so WFO)...

Actually, I should dig in the box, I think I have an extra 8 that I tried on the 372 and didn't like (until I get around to having it ported).
 
I havnt tried it yet, but I have 8 pin rim for mine. My thought was if it can pull the .404 it should be able to pull the 3/8s with a 8 pin sprocket. I could be wrong though.

Nice commercial, those were some eager beavers LOL

parts?

hey guys I just bought 3 old Macs for $60. I am curious if I can still get parts for these or will they just be a shelf saw? i do have pics but they are too big to upload. the 3214 is in the best condition. Eager Beaver is missing the hand protector bar and some other stuff. The Mini is missing a oil fill cap. Where is a good place(online) to get parts for these? Are parts still available for them?

I have a question relating to the bad ass Yellow American Hot Rod Chainsaws. :D

If I'm reading my IPL right the oil tank from any 44, or a 1-71 will fit my 1-70, is that right???

This is the same flywheel off of 10-10s, PM60s, PM700s, SP81s, 555s, 7-10s, 1-10s and SP80s

If anyone can help that would be great.

A 55 parts saw would be even better.
