just as a heads up I did end up getting an aftermarket ms361 coil and it worked no problem with the 261. only issue the kill cable didnt quite reach the 90 degree angled spade connector as the OEM has a 45 degree spade so I needed to make up a little extension tail with a 4.8mm quick connect spade connected to the little tail that came with the ignition module.
