I wanted to make a couple cuts with this little saw this evening. So, I started it up without the bar and it seemed to be oiling fine. I installed the bar and made a couple cuts before it got dark. I maybe ran it for 10 minutes, 10 or so cuts on some aged pecan. Everything seemed fine so I turned it off. While I was putting the saw away I noticed that the bar was hot. Not burn you hot, but way hotter than it should be. I took the bar back off and started it back up... no oil.
Do oil pumps go out that fast? It's the little cylindrical pump that's pressed into the case. What's the easiest way to change it? Do I have to disassemble the whole saw again?
