MS261 Available in the USA Already!

Looks like Stihl should be rolling out this model very soon as they removed the 260 Pro from their web site and replaced it with the 261.

Interesting that it appears that you won't be able to run the RSC3 Chisel chain on this one like you were able to on the 260.

Hopefully their web site is not accurately showing the chain options.

I saw that yesterday, but the saw is not yet available. The distributor in this area has 240 MS260s to sell before we'll be seeing the MS261. That may take a while

Of course you can - you can run "yellow" chisel chain as well, just disregard what they recommend!

Go to 2:35. BTW, it looks like a lot simpler saw than the 441 or 362.

Looks pretty torquey for a stock saw.
