Ms271 parts saw

I'm thinking about picking this up to repair. The more I think about it the more I think I may pass. At first I thought all I would need is the rear handle and top cover, but the damage looks more extensive. Owner dropped a limb on it.

Thoughts?

I was thinking of going the other way and trying to put it back together.
