What should be the gap from the flywheel to the coil? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I use a business card. Im not sure what the number is. Just slip the card in turn the flywheel til the magnet pulls the coil to it and tighten the screws.

My Stihl special tool for this check's out at .007". They are very inexpensive at the dealer (air gap tool for the flywheel). Otherwise I'd suppose you could use a feeler guage. Happy Sawing!
