Hey all,

found this NOS Husky crank in my boxes.

part on crank is 501 81 15-01, but I can’t find what it is? Best guess is 181 or 281???

I'll impart a bit of wisdom a boss told me, "The part numbers on the part and the part numbers given in the ipl don't always match up". In other words, you'll probably have to find out what this fits by seeing what this fits, not a p/n. The packaging looks like it's from the 2100 era, so early 181 crank sounds like a good guess.

17mm on the PTO side, 15mm on the flywheel side.
So I guess that confirms 181?
I think so. Limited market for those too.
The idea was to use the same crankshaft flywheel-side "nose" spec for the 181 as on the 266. This didn't last long as problems emerged and the crankcase & crankshaft were altered to use the larger 2100-size bearing on both sides.
