I got me a proffesional saw from tractor supply last week and it quit already. It's a green Pullon. Motor runs good but the blade just smokes now. What do I do? Need to get wood cut.
Should I use a big torch? Or would a small one work?

Where you been?
You need to bleed your oil pump. I believe standard procedure is to empty out all the bar oil, start the saw and zippy tie the throttle wide open. Should release any air pockets in the oil pump. 10 or 15 minutes at wot should alleviate the issue

I'll give that a try. But I think i'll set it up on the hood of the Jeep so I can keep an eye on it. Sure hope it works.no disassembly required. pretty much any propane torch will do that job. you should probably just rig it up so the torch points at the oiler so you can leave and do something else as it takes half hour.
