Need Help With Saw

I got me a proffesional saw from tractor supply last week and it quit already.It's a green Pullon. Motor runs good but the blade just smokes now. What do I do? Need to get wood cut.

you need to heat up the oiler with a torch

no disassembly required. pretty much any propane torch will do that job. you should probably just rig it up so the torch points at the oiler so you can leave and do something else as it takes half hour.

Some lesser beings may use a small propane torch (or even MAPP gas), but the true Pullon aficionado knows that the best results are achieved by using a Broco PC/MIL-60 cutting torch, turned up to "11".

You need to bleed your oil pump. I believe standard procedure is to empty out all the bar oil, start the saw and zippy tie the throttle wide open. Should release any air pockets in the oil pump. 10 or 15 minutes at wot should alleviate the issue

When you bleed the oil pump like that, don't forget to remove the air filter first.

Yes I forgot that. Removing the top cover to allow free air to cool motor also helps

You should take off the blade and use a bar and chain That's what we all use...ERM..most of us.

I'll give that a try. But I think i'll set it up on the hood of the Jeep so I can keep an eye on it. Sure hope it works.
