i burn lots and lots of skids but they are 80% oak.
the non-oak peices are like most say here great fire starters.
most of the skids are 4x4 and 3x4 x12' long peices.
neighbor brought home two truckloads of 4x4 pallets, all pine, from the looks of it. and he lives too close.....
