Surely this is the point in the 346xp - it's designed as a limbing saw, to roll about a log while limbing?:confused:

Exactly what a saw should do when limbing, constantly rolling from om side to the other around the log. The 260/261 stands upright on you pick-up but will never be as good performer as the 346 for limbing. It's simply too bulky.

The last thing I'd do to a 346 is add a larger spike. But if a spike were made
that extended down slightly below the bottom of the saw, it would help.

But like I've said, doesn't bother me at all. I like a slim ass :msp_biggrin:

I was thinking longer, not necessarily a "big spike kit" like for a 372/395 or anything.

:agree2: I don't use spikes on my smaller saws at all, only on the 372xp!
