Hey, I"d like to improve the performance of my 026 a bit, as it seems a bit sluggish. It currently has a 20" Bar and chain with 3/8" full comp chain on it. I'm wondering how much difference I'd be likely to notice if I went to say an 18" with .325 chain? Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers, Gab

16" with new PS3 chain performes very well

Mine was .325 X 20" and I changed it to 3/8" X 16". Never looked back. Is a very nice limbing saw.

Picco? Really? Is that what all the cool euro kids are running?

A much wiser bar and chain choice would be a 16" guide with 26 RMC3 67 chain.

I use regular 3/8" Stihl RS and sometimes Oregon 3/8" CL square

mine ran an 18" .325 bar and chain really well. I also liked the Oregon BPX better than RSC in .325. its a better chain, now in 3/8, RSC is my favorite
