newly aquired stihl 064

I just got given to me a strong running stihl 064 mid to late 90's saw, i want to change from the filter screen to the actual oval filter. Can anyone help new to the stihl line any help would be great. Thanks Joe

You'll need to change the fiter cover, and the filter base. There are two different filter bases depeding on you serial number and/or carb. What is your serial number? Do you have a Bing or Walbro carb?
