I had this old Oregon bar thrown in with my 281xp purchase. It should be a decent length for my 372 clone but I'm struggling to figure out from the old code exactly what it is...

I'm guessing it's a 22" (77dl) .050 but could do with confirmation or otherwise before sourcing a chain for it.

Hope some one out there can help...

Any markings on the nose?
Hadn't noticed until I just checked but yes stamping on the tip does confirm its 3/8.

It's the drive link count that's been the bit that concerned me really, it seems it is 77 drive links but all current bars appear to be 76 dl for a 22" bar and cheaper pre made loops more easily available as opposed to getting a 77dl chain made up.

Pretty much the bars are Prefix length + gauge. 22 inch 8 = .058 gauge
0 = .050 gauge
3 = .063 gauge
Last numbers are the bar mount style/etc...

The in between numbers are the bar model number
